At 321Knit we’re constantly on the look out for beautiful patterns with amazing details. These four sweaters definitely fit the bill.

Originally published in VERSACIKNITS, this pattern is now for sale via Ravelry. The subtle lace detail down the side, the elegant, curved hem and the lose turtleneck makes for a closet must have. Imagine knitting this in a soft luxury merino or alpaca yarn.

Llevant

This top-down pattern created by Isabell Kraemer is available on lovecrafts.com. We particularly like the detailing at the top front and back, as well as the two-colored pattern at the bottom. We can imagine wearing this sweater on a cool late summer evening or fall day.

Oldies

The simple diamond stitch pattern on this sweater is simply divine. Knit from the bottom up, the front and back are knit separately until joined further up the sides to create bottom side slits. It’s a cropped pattern, but you can easily adjust it to make a longer sweater for those of us who like longer sweaters that cover our backsides.

The Walter Sweater

Inspired by the sweater the main character in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty wore, Josee Paquin created this gorgeous pattern. The cross stitch pattern down the length of the sleeves are exquisite. Another great addition to your fall closet.
